LILITH REN
My work explores the fragile boundary between memory, myth, and machine. I create speculative systems—animated, interactive, or generative—that challenge how we construct meaning in a posthuman world. Drawing from emotional datasets, oceanic folklore, and ritual interfaces, I reimagine technology as a poetic medium—one that listens, remembers, and transforms.
With a background in architecture and visual media, I explore immersive environments that dissolve distinctions between the natural and the artificial, the personal and the collective. At the core of my practice lies a deep interest in the psychological functions of narrative: how each person’s version of a story becomes a projection of their inner world, and how collective myths blur into personal memory. I seek to question the authenticity of remembering, and to create experiences where narrative becomes a mirror—revealing not what was, but what the mind needs to believe.
I am also drawn to the evolving relationship between AI and the independent artist, not as tool and user, but as collaborators in co-authoring new forms of expression. Through these explorations, I aim to build narrative interfaces that invite reflection, evoke emotion, and hold space for alternative realities.
